In October 2015, Dexter B. Upshaw Jr. was appointed as the lead pastor of New Vision by Bishop Derek L. Calhoun. Pastor Dexter currently serves as the Senior Pastor of New Vision, with the strategic support of his wife Pastor Lindsey, who serves as the Pastor of Family Life and Member Care.

Pastor Dexter B. Upshaw Jr. is a next-generation community leader, speaker & entrepreneur. From TEDx talks to preaching engagements, Pastor Dexter has communicated to audiences from Ghana to Russia, connecting with topics ranging from digital strategy to the gospel of Jesus Christ. A graduate of Yale University, Pastor Dexter has crafted and implemented digital strategy for prominent organizations such as the New Jersey Performing Arts Center & the world-famous Apollo Theater. He serves as an executive coach through his business Distinction Unlimited LLC. He is also the founder of Rep The Gospel Clothing, a streetwear apparel line. Pastor Lindsey Greene-Upshaw

Pastor of Family Life & Membercare

Pastor Lindsey has a passion to love people holistically with a Kingdom mission. Whether teaching the Word, or putting it in action in the marketplace, she desires to see people and the body of Christ thrive. At New Vision, she is the Pastor of Family Life and Member Care where she oversees youth ministries and programs, family ministries, Replenish women’s ministry and discipleship. In the marketplace, she most recently served as the Senior Manager of Health Equity and Community Impact for Yale New Haven Health System. Lindsey has founded or helped to build youth mentoring organizations like Visions of Virtue, Elevate Bridgeport and Young Lives in Texas and Connecticut. She is passionate about helping families thrive and is blessed to have her own to steward. Lindsey has 3 kiddos who bring her great joy.
